General Firearm Sales

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

Online Price & Description Errors

Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item’s description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card or we will refund the money.

If an item’s description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that Seller will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.

Ammunition Purchases

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with or without adult signature required (based on location requirement). Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.

Layaway Policy

Hammer Outdoor Sports offers a 120 day layaway program as a payment option to our customers. Customers using this option are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Down payment (due at inception): 30% of the total purchase price

Required minimum monthly payment: 17.5% of the total purchase amount

Layaway charges and fees: No charges or fees if payments are received as stated above. The customer agrees that if a minimum monthly payment is not made on time, then a late fee of $25 will be added to the balance. The customer agrees that if no payment is made for a time period of 60 days or longer that this layaway is subject to cancellation WITHOUT REFUND.

Additional terms

Venue: The customer understands that this layaway is consummated within the State of Ohio and as such, the laws of that state will apply to this sale.

Availability: The customer additionally understands that the retailer may not procure physical inventory of the product purchased until the purchase price has been paid in full. Should the item(s) requested not be available at the time this agreement is paid in full the purchaser shall be entitled to a full refund.

Cancellation due to failed background check: Should the customer be unable to legally take possession of the firearms (if any) subject to this layaway, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund less shipping costs for both the outbound and the inbound shipment.

Cancellation for any other reason: The customer understands that by entering into this agreement that they are causing retailer to not sell the item(s) to potential other purchasers, as such, the customer herby agrees to a cancellation fee of 25% of the total.

Email Marketing

Customer understands by placing an order that thier contact information may be used for marketing purposes by the retailer. Retailer agrees not so sell or use customers email for any purpose other than retailer’s own marketing and customer service communications. The customer may opt out of any marketing communication by clicking on the link included in each email and indicating thier communication preference.
